Two alternative rock acts that ruled radio waves at the turn of the millennium — Third Eye Blind and Dashboard Confessional — will stop in Paso Robles on their summer tour.

The bands are set to perform July 17 at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.

Third Eye Blind found fame in the late 1990s with hit songs including “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper” and “Never Let You Go.” The band performed at the Cal Poly Rec Center in San Luis Obispo in 1998 and the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles in 1999.

Dashboard Confessional enjoyed a jump in popularity after its song “Vindicated” was featured on the soundtrack of the 2004 movie “Spider-Man 2.” The band’s other hits include “Don’t Wait” and “Hands Down.”

Tickets for the July 17 concert are $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Vina Robles Amphitheatre is on the grounds of Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery, 3800 Mill Road in Paso Robles. For more information, call 227-4812 or visit
