Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne will perform at Cal Poly in February, concert promoter Bruce Howard announced Friday morning.
Synonymous with the Southern California rock scene, Browne released his first solo album in 1972. That eponymous record spawned his first top ten hit, “Doctor My Eyes.” Through the years, other hits would include “Somebody’s Baby,” “The Pretender” and “Running on Empty.” Browne is also known for co-writing the song “Take It Easy,” which became a huge hit for the Eagles.
The solo acoustic tour, which comes to the Performing Arts Center February 4, will feature Browne performing songs from his entire career.
Information about ticket sales, which go on sale next week, can be found at his website, http://jacksonbrowne.com.
