Sorry, Blake Shelton fans.

The county star’s upcoming concert at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles just became the second show in fair history to sell out in a single day.

Concertgoers snapped up all 14,857 tickets for Shelton’s July 23 concert with opening act Caroline Kole shortly after they went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, according to Tom Keffury, who handles sponsorships and publicity for the fair.

The only other fair act to achieve such a feat is rock band Aerosmith, which sold out its 2007 concert in a day.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry returns to the Chumash Grandstand Arena on July 25 as a member of the rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires.

Other acts lined up to perform at the fair this summer include country star Tim McGraw, pop singer Fergie, pop rock band Fall Out Boy and country rocker Don Henley.

The California Mid-State Fair runs July 20 through July 31 at the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles For more information, call 1-800-909-FAIR (3247) or visit www.midstatefair.com.
