No “Foolin’.” British rockers Def Leppard will perform at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles this summer.

The band will perform July 27 in the Main Grandstand Arena of the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles. Rock band Tesla, best known for the hit “Love Song,” will open the show.

Def Leppard enjoyed its greatest popularity in the 1980s and early ’90s with a string of hit songs including “Animal,” “Woman,” “Rock of Ages” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” The band last performed at the fair in 1999.

Tickets for Def Leppard’s July 27 concert cost $56 to $131, and go on sale March 27.
