Anticipating a large turnout, the California Mid-State Fair will issue special wristbands for two bands this week.
Both acts will perform on the Fort Frontier State, which is free with paid admission to the fair. Contemporary Christian rock band MercyMe performs Wednesday; Mexican saxophonist, singer and songwriter Fito Olivares and his band La Pura Sabrosura take the stage Sunday.
Both will perform two shows at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Attendees can get wristbands for the 6:30 p.m. show starting at 3 p.m. at the main entrance to the Fort Frontier Stage, according to a news release. Once that show starts, fans can get wristbands for the 8:30 p.m. show.
Wristbands and seating are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
