Standup comedian and actor Kevin Hart will perform next month in Paso Robles.
The wildly popular performer, whose recent movie credits include “Ride Along 2,” “Central Intelligence” and “The Secret Life of Pets,” will take the stage Aug. 3 at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.
Hart first came to prominence through film roles in “Soul Plane,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and the “Scary Movie” franchise, plus reoccurring roles on the TV shows “Undeclared,” “The Big House” and “Barbershop.”
Hart’s 2011 comedy tour, chronicled in the documentary “Laugh at My Pain,” made him one of the nation’s top-selling comedians. He followed up that accomplishment earlier this year with his hugely successful What Now tour, becoming the first comic to sell out an NFL stadium. Forbes magazine’s annual list of top-earning celebrities ranked Hart at No. 6 with earnings of $87.5 million. He’s the first comedian to out-earn Jerry Seinfeld, the magazine said.
The documentary version of that tour, “Kevin Hart: What Now,” will open in theaters in October.
Tickets for Hart’s Aug. 3 show cost $75 to $200.
