The release of The Shamblers' second album is bittersweet for the band, which will be splitting up with the departure of guitarist/bassist Mike Marotto and singer Lucas Ohio now pondering a move to Nashbille, Tenn.
There are a few mellow numbers, including 'All Good People,' a drown-your-sorrows song with a going-away vibe. The title track is a rockabilly blues song, while "Steps Toward Home" sees Ohio offering up Coldplay-like falsettos. Two songs feature contributions from Elton John's longtime guitarist Caleb Quaye.
The band will promote the album on Friday with a shot at Downtown Brewing Co.
