Comments (0) | Andre Dome, an Arroyo Grande High grad, captured both singles and doubles titles for the Cal Poly men’s tennis team at the UNLV-hosted Rebel Classic at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Dome and partner Jordan Bridge began the day by topping UNLV’s Mehdi Bouras and Luca Barlocchi 8-5. Then, Dome defeated Bouras for the singles championship, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Women's golf
Maddy Fletcher shot an even-par, third-place 72 to lead the Cal Poly women’s golf team to a fifth-place showing in the first round of the 16-team Lamkin Grip Invitational at Cypress Ridge Golf Course.
Cal Poly as a team was fifth with a 308 score entering today’s final round.
