The Arroyo Grande High boys water polo team improved 8-0 with a 15-5 win over visiting Cabrillo on Wednesday.
Patrick Cullen led a balanced attack as 10 players scored for the Eagles.
"Everybody got kind of involved and was able to get some playing time," Arroyo Grande coach Steven Allen said.
Arroyo Grande got four blocks from starting goalkeeper T.J. Butler. Backup John Kullman came in to register two more in the second half.
Mikey Benaron, Evan Robassciotti and Derek Lange scored two goals apiece for the Eagles, who remain idle until a showdown with league rival Righetti at home Tuesday.
San Luis Obispo
Cal Poly announced the signing of former women's basketball player Jessica Eggleston to a professional contract in Europe.
Eggleston, who graduated in 2007 as the fourth-ranked scorer in program history, will play for Spanish third division club CBF Alcol Germaine de Capuccini.
As a member of the Mustangs track and field team, Eggleston hit 41 feet, 6 inches in the triple jump, which stands as Cal Poly's second best mark all-time.
Atascadero
The Atascadero high girls golf team fell to visiting Righetti 210-299 at Chalk Mountain Golf Course on Monday. The Warriors' Mareon Smitmedaled led with a 37. The Greyhounds were led by Brehanna Fugitt's 50.
