The Paso Robles High baseball and softball teams are scheduled to host first round CIF-Southern Section Division II playoff games at home Friday, while both the baseball and softball teams from San Luis Obispo will be on road that day.
The Bearcats baseball team— the No. 1 seed out of the PAC 7 — will host the winner of today’s wild-card game between Cypress and Fontana on Friday at 3:15 p. m.
The Bearcats softball team — also the No. 1 seed from the PAC 7—will host the winner of a wild-card game between AB Miller and Alta Loma. The firstround showdown is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p. m. Friday.
In other Division II baseball playoff pairings, San Luis Obispo will travel for a first-round game against Chino Hills on Friday afternoon.
Arroyo Grande is scheduled to host Hoover at 3:15 p. m. today in a wild-card game, and Atascadero has a wild-card game on the road at Hueneme today.
North County Christian will host the winner of Oakwood- Thatcher in a first-round Division VII playoff game on Thursday at 3:15 p. m.
In Division II softball, San Luis Obispo has a first-round game at Glendora on Friday afternoon.
Wednesday’s wild-card games include Atascadero at Palos Verdes, and Arroyo Grande at Redondo.
In Division IV, Orange plays at Templeton on Friday at 3:15 p. m. in a first-round game, and Morro Bay has a game the same day at Alemany.
In first-round Division VII games, Coastal Christian hosts Providence at 3:15 p. m., and Desert Christian plays at North County Christian at 3:15 p. m.
In boys volleyball tonight, Arroyo Grande will host Claremont at 6 in the second-round of the Division II playoffs.
In boys tennis today, San Luis Obispo is at Burroughs in a 2 p. m. quarterfinal match.
