Huddleston, Va. — Jared Lintner weighed a 12-pound, 5-ounce limit for the second day in a row and moved up seven spots in the standings Saturday at Smith Mountain Lake.
It was the third time that the fifth-year Bassmaster Elite pro has finished 31st in a tournament final standings.
Only 18 of the 47 pros who fished Saturday had heavier bag weights than Lintner. The Arroyo Grande pro finished with three limits totaling 39 pounds, 8 ounces.
It was the 29th time in 44 Elite competitions than he has earned a paycheck. His $10,000 check for his Smith Mountain efforts swelled his earnings this season to $21,500 in three tourneys.
The Smith Mountain event concludes Sunday as the top 12 anglers vie for the $100,000 first-place prize.
