Lopez Lake near Arroyo Grande closed its boat ramps in July 2016 because the water was low, but after a rain-soaked winter, the lake water level is back up (at 62 percent capacity on April 30, 2017) and the ramps have reopened. That means boating, fishing and water sports have returned.
