Wearing No. 17 in honor of teammate Ryan Teixeira — who is fighting cancer — Arroyo Grande High senior Jordan Harrigan scored on a 3-yard run for the only touchdown of the first half as San Luis Obispo County football team leads Northern Santa Barbara 7-3 at halftime of the FCA All-Star Game on Saturday night at Santa Ynez.
Harrigan took a swing pass from Atascadero's Tommy Carr 36 yards to set up the score, which came on San Luis Obispo's first possession of the game. Harrigan rushed 12 times for 55 yards.
Sal Castro of Pioneer Valley made a 38-yard field goal in the second quarter for Northern Santa Barbara's lone score of the half.
Carr added a 50-yard quarterback keeper down to the 10-yard-line with less than two minutes in the half, but was intercepted by Lompoc's Joseph Osegueda to end the drive. San Luis Obispo's James Zanoli ended the half with an interception on a double-pass Hail Mary attempt.
