The San Luis Obispo High baseball team couldn’t pull out a win against host Pioneer Valley on Wednesday night, falling 3-2 in 13 innings.
The score was tied 1-1 in the first inning and remained that way until the Tigers (8-7, 1-6 PAC 8) scored a run in the top of the 13th to take the lead.
But the Panthers came back and scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning to take the victory.
Matt Mundorf and Jacob Rodgers scored the Tigers’ only runs.

Righetti 6, Atascadero 2
Dustin White and Spencer Erdman each drove in a run in the seventh inning for the Greyhounds (6-10, 3-4 PAC 8) in the loss.
Holden Nix pitched six innings with two strikeouts and gave up three runs.
San Marcos 12, Arroyo Grande 6
Each of the singles players and doubles teams picked up one set but that was all for the Eagles (10-7), who couldn’t recover from a 10-2 deficit after the second round.
Templeton 12, Coast Union 6
All of the doubles teams swept for the Eagles (7-6), led by the tandem of Tyler Bebout and Nelson Bernal that won 6-1, 6-1, 6-1.
Arroyo Grande 3, St. Joseph 0
Ronan Paulsen led the way with 15 kills and three blocks as the Eagles (17-5-2, 7-0 PAC 8) won 25-8, 25-12, 25-12 over visiting St. Joseph.
Brett MacDonald had 14 digs and three aces, and Keanu Morrison added eight kills and three aces as well in the win.
