The Arroyo Grande High girls water polo team placed third, losing two out of three games on the final day of the Arroyo Grande Winter Classic on Saturday.
The Eagles beat Roosevelt 10-5 in the first game of the day and then lost to Bishop Diego 7-6 and gold division champion Murrieta Valley 8-4.
Isabel Manuele had five goals against Roosevelt, while Kate Empey had four goals against Bishop Diego and added two more against Murrieta Valley.
Emily Sonny had 20 saves on the day with 10 in the first game, while Kayla Mankins had eight saves overall for Arroyo Grande (12-3).

Paso Robles went 2-1 on the day, beating Atascadero 9-6, losing 9-3 to Foothill Tech and defeating Santa Ynez 8-5.
Jessica Reeves had five goals on the day for Paso Robles, with four coming against Atascadero, while Makenna Pugh had six goals, three against both Atascadero and Santa Ynez.
Kelsey Lewis had 33 saves for the Bearcats (9-6).
Besides losing to Paso Robles, Atascadero (6-9) fell 13-4 to Santa Ynez and 20-7 to Foothill Tech.
Atascadero’s Courtney McCarthy had three of her seven goals on day against Paso Robles, and Megan Hendrickson had three goals, two against Foothill Tech.
San Luis Obispo defeated Pioneer Valley 11-6 and Pacific 8-6 as Addie Foster had seven goals over the two games, and Cata Gaines made 11 saves for the Tigers (11-5).
Nipomo defeated Morro Bay 11-4. The Pirates (3-6) had two goals from Torie White and one from Katie White and Cassy Machado in the loss to the Titans.
Coast Union 1, Liberty 0, OT
Coast Union’s Ricky Abitia scored the game’s only goal off an assist from Danny Pena in the 95th minute. Goalie Roberto Quintero had six saves in a shutout performance for the Broncos (7-6-1).
Liberty 2, Coast Union 0
Cynthia Cadena made 17 saves but the Broncos could not overcome two first-half goals in the loss at home (6-4-1).
