Kecymar Osuna finished third to lead the Templeton High girls cross country team to a win in Division 4 at the Cal Poly Cross Country High School Invitational on Saturday at the Fairbanks Course at Cuesta College.
Osuna had a time of 19 minutes, 41.2 seconds, behind Elena Garcia of Mt. Carmel (18:56.0) and Michaela Barros of Fortuna (19:34.3).
Templeton finished with 25 points, with Notre Dame second (43 points) and Santa Ynez third (59).
The Eagles’ Hannah Weaver also had a top-10 finish, taking 10th place in 20:15.3. Veronica Russell was 15th in 21:17.0, and Hannah Zemella was 16th in 21:20.7.

Coast Union’s Gigi Stootham was 37th in 23:10.3.
In the boys race, Templeton’s Sam Savory-Orton was 21st in 17:51.4., and Coast Union’s Jez Lawson was 47th in 18:51.5.
San Luis Obispo 11, Carpinteria 7
The Tigers earned a nonleague win at home.
The doubles team of Caroline Burke and Anna Lippold won 6-4, 6-0, 6-1 for San Luis Obispo (12-4, 9-2 PAC 8). Joelle Lewis and Fiona Huffaker won their doubles matches, 6-2, 6-3, 6-3. Alorah Cowne, who played with both Nicole Kasper and Sam Good in doubles, won two of her three matches, 6-4, 6-4.

Paso Robles at Santa Maria Tournament
Mitchell Iunker led Paso Robles with 17 goals over four games at the Santa Maria Tournament this weekend.
Iunker scored three goals in an 11-9 loss to Bullard. Kohl Coffey and Wyatt Spencer had two goals each. Goalie Gabe Hindley had 11 saves.
Iunker secured an 8-2 win in the second game with five goals against Sunnyside. Spencer had two goals and Ryan Abel had one goal. Hindley had 11 saves.
Paso Robles’ record is now 7-14 overall.
Atascadero at Clovis West Tournament
Dylan Linnenkamp and Dylan Hughes led Atascadero with 19 goals each at the Clovis West Tournament.
Atascadero beat Hanford West 13-6, Clovis East 16-9, and lost to Clovis 9-7. Goalie James Fisher had 28 saves and five steals.
Atascadero’s record is now 7-9 overall.
Arroyo Grande at El Segundo Tournament
Arroyo Grande claimed fifth place in the El Segundo Tournament.
In their first game Saturday, the Eagles fell to host El Segundo, before rallying to beat Peninsula Charter 9-7 and Trabuco Hills 9-7.
Conner Sandman had four goals and Hunter Roberts added two more in the Peninsula Charter game.
Against Trabuco Hills Sandman had four more goals, and Josh Smith and Roberts had two apiece.
Ronan Paulson finished with 14 saves on the day for the Eagles (12-10).
