The Atascadero High girls volleyball team beat Paso Robles 3-1 on Thursday night in Paso Robles as Katherine Sedley had 16 kills and three aces.
Sedley led the Greyhounds, who won 25-13, 24-26, 27-25, 25-19 with eight service points in the first set.
Chloe Kerns helped the Bearcats (8-4, 0-1 PAC 8) keep the final three sets close with 30 assists and 13 digs to go along with Kiara Gable’s eight kills and six digs and Riley Austin’s 13 digs.
Brooke Harbottle had 45 assists, while Sabrina Degnan had 23 digs and Kaylie Griffin had 14 kills for Atascadero (5-6, 1-0).

Arroyo Grande 3, Mission Prep 0
Ashlyn Herlihy had 15 kills, and Emily Sonny had 12 kills to lead Arroyo Grande in a 25-5, 25-14, 25-15 win.
Alaina Hogeboom added 36 assists for the Eagles (9-2, 1-0 PAC 8).
Noelle Laird had six kills and five aces for the Royals (2-1, 0-1 PAC 8).
San Luis Obispo 3, Righetti 1
Holland Boege had a strong performance, notching 24 kills and 23 digs for the Tigers (9-3, 1-0 PAC 8), and Morgan Day added 12 kills.
Merissa Brancart had 42 assists and Calli Hamari had 25 digs for San Luis Obispo, which won 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19.
Cabrillo 3, Nipomo 1
Lacy LeBlanc led the Titans with 34 assists, five digs and four aces in a home loss (19-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-23).
Morro Bay 3, Santa Maria 0
Sierra Emrick led Morro Bay (2-2, 1-0 Los Padres League) with 13 kills, nine digs and three blocks.
The Pirates won 25-14, 25-23, 25-17 as Keana Alden added 11 digs and 11 assists.
Templeton 3, Santa Ynez 2
The Eagles (4-1, 1-0 LPL) won a back-and-forth match 25-8, 22-25, 24-26, 25-13, 15-9, behind Lauren Ralston’s 22 digs, 18 kills and two aces.
Julie Cates added 15 digs, 13 kills, and four aces. Josi Kelly distributed 38 assists, and had 15 digs and three aces.
North County Christian 3, Coastal Christian 0
Gabrielle Morrison had 20 assists and 10 aces for North County Christian (10-4, 1-0 Coast Valley League).
North County Christian won the match 25-21, 25-8, 25-13. Morrison changed the tide of the match in the second set when she began serving. The set was 2-1 when she began serving, and when she finished it was 13-1. In that span, Morrison had 6 aces. Aliyah Morrison added 13 kills and seven digs. A North County Christian spokesperson said it was the first time the Crusaders had beaten Coastal Christian in more than seven years.
Roni Garrison led Coastal Christian with 20 digs, five kills and two aces.
Coast Union 3, Cuyama Valley 0
Janelle Bohey and Sage Radecki had seven kills and three aces each while Gigi Stoothoff had five kills and five aces as the Broncos (2-3, 1-0 CVL) won 25-11, 25-14, 25-13.
BOYS WATER POLO
Cabrillo 9, Paso Robles 4
Mitchell Iunker scored three goals in a losing effort for Paso Robles (2-6).
The Bearcats took a 3-1 lead in the first quarter, but Cabrillo came back to tie by halftime.
Gabe Hindley had 14 saves, but the offense only scored one goal after halftime.
San Luis Obispo 7, Santa Ynez 5
Emerson Trout had two goals for the Tigers (8-1), and Connor Troy notched 13 saves to preserve the win.
St. Joseph 9 (73), Paso Robles 9 (63)
Lindsey Horst (0-6, 6-3, 6-4) and Katie Evenson (0-6, 7-6 (7), 6-2) took two out of three set in singles for the Bearcats (4-2, 1-2 PAC 8) in a loss.
Paso Robles also had the doubles team of Karina Santiago and Lauren Martinez (2-6, 6-3, 6-1) take two out of three games.
Atascadero 17, Mission Prep 1
The doubles team of Kiahana Torres and Ella Diaz won their sets 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 for Atascadero (7-3, 2-1 PAC 8).
Courtney Basben won her sets 6-4, 6-0, 6-0, and Maria Beluso won 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.
Toni Walsh won the lone set for the Royals 7-5.
Templeton 9 (75), Morro Bay 9 (64)
Mili Proft and Bijou Burns each won two out of three singles sets for Templeton, as Proft won 6-0, 6-2, and Burns won 6-1, 6-1.
They both dropped a set to Alzbeta Hermanova, who won her final set 6-0 for the Pirates (3-4, 1-2 LPL).
The doubles team of Kiley Keohan and Lauren Shin won two of three (5-7, 6-1, 6-0) for the Eagles (1-5, 1-1 LPL).
Orcutt Academy 13, Nipomo 5
The Titans doubles team of Ashley Jimenez and Monica Guerrero won two sets 6-3, 6-2. Julie Johnson won a set 6-0, and Nicole Johnson also won a set 7-5 for Nipomo (2-5, 0-2 LPL).
Laguna Blanca 14, Coast Union 4
Maddie May and Michelle Campos won their first singles sets of the year for the Broncos (0-5).
May dropped her first two sets and won her last 6-1. Campos won both of her sets 6-1, 6-3.
Pioneer Valley Golf Tournament
San Luis Obispo placed first in the PAC 8 girls golf tournament at the par-36 Blacklake Golf Course in Nipomo with a score of 239.
Neha Sikand shot a 43, and Bee Soll shot a 46 for the Tigers.
The second-place team was Righetti with a score of 251. Righetti also had the medalist Sarah Fouratt, who shot a 39.
Arroyo Grande finished third at 260. Tessa Oates shot a 42, and Rachel Harris added a 50 for the Eagles.
Atascadero was fourth with 288, with Morgan Humphrey shooting a 54 and Jenna Lewis with a 56. Paso Robles finished sixth out of seven, with Mikayla Stone shooting a 52.
Cynthia Navis shot a 4-over 40 and was the medalist to lead Nipomo to a first-place finish with 237 at front nine of the Village Country Club.
