Maddi Chace had 12 kills and an ace as the Paso Robles High girls volleyball team overcame a two-set deficit on the road to defeat Morro Bay 3-2 on Tuesday.
Chloe Kerns dished out 21 assists to go along with three digs and a block as the Bearcats won 19-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 20-18.
Riley Austin added nine digs for Paso Robles (2-0).
Jade Tirado had 14 digs and 12 assists for Morro Bay (0-2). Sybella Paredes added 19 digs and five kills for the Pirates. Sierra Emrick added 15 blocks, 14 digs and 13 kills.

Arroyo Grande 3, Nipomo 0
Ashlyn Herlihy and Emily Sonny each had nine kills to lead the Eagles (2-0), which had 13 aces.
Alaina Hogeboom had a team-high 24 assists.
Kendra Jackson had 12 digs for Nipomo (0-2). Lacy LeBlanc had 16 assists, five kills, and five digs, leading the team in all categories.
“It was David versus Goliath,” Nipomo coach David Cassidy said, “and we didn’t have our sling shots.”
Templeton 3, Atascadero 1
Elsa Strysko had 15 kills, and Josi Kelly had 24 assists and five aces to lead a balanced Eagles attack as Templeton won 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17.
Lauren Ralston registered 11 kills, Hannah McRoy had 19 assists, and Lucy Portillo had nine kills and two blocks for Templeton (2-0), which plays at Arroyo Grande on Thursday.
Katheryn Sedley had 11 kills, and Kaylie Griffin had seven kills to lead Atascadero. Brooke Harbottle added 23 assists for the Greyhounds.
San Luis Obispo 3, Cabrillo 0
Holland Boege had 11 kills for San Luis Obispo, and Rilee Day added nine in a 25-12, 25-13, 25-19 nonleague win.
Merissa Brankhart dished out 26 assists for the Tigers (2-0).
Mission Prep 3, North County Christian 1
Eleri Perryman had 14 assists, Jennifer Laird had a team-leading seven kills, and Bella Casola added five kills to lead the Royals to a 25-15, 25-8, 19-25, 25-18 victory.
Gabrielle Morrison had 17 assists and 12 digs for North County Christian. Aliyah Morrison added 12 kills and three blocks for the Crusaders (4-3).
BOYS WATER POLO
Santa Ynez 12, Atascadero 11 OT
Dylan Linenkamp scored five goals, including one in the second overtime period, but the Greyhounds dropped a sudden-death decision at home.
Dylan Hughes also had five goals, and Scott Beraud scored once for Atascadero (3-2), which trailed 8-4 heading into the fourth quarter before rallying to tie it and send it to overtime.
After the Pirates scored in the first three-minute overtime, Linenkamp scored in the second frame to force sudden death, where Santa Ynez found the winning goal two minutes in.
James Fisher made 11 saves for the Greyhounds.
Pioneer Valley 9, Morro Bay 6
Travis Chirman had four goals for the Pirates (0-3), and Lucas Jakovich scored twice. Jack Krull made 10 saves for the Pirates.
Atascadero 13, Templeton 5
Top singles player Nicoline Breytenback won all but three games en route to a sweep for the Greyhounds (5-2).
The doubles teams of Natalie Manier and Julia Clickard, and Charlotte Holt and Courtney Basden also won three sets for Atascadero.
Mili Proft won two of three sets, 3-6, 6-0, 6-3, for Templeton (0-2).
San Luis Obispo 13, Orcutt Academy 6
The Tigers swept their doubles matches and won three singles matches in their matchup with the Spartans.
Morro Bay 13, Coast Union 5
Tess Badrigian won 6-0, 6-0, 6-2 in singles for the Pirates (2-2).
Skye Schwellenbach also dominated in singles, winning 6-2, 6-1, 6-0. June Janzen also won three sets for the Pirates.
The doubles team of Keely Coxwell and Kaylee Denham won 7-6 (7-3), 6-2, 6-3.
Coast Union’s doubles team of Rebecca Tavera and Jackie Chavez won two of three sets.
The doubles team of Lendy Ortiz and Corina Ochoa also won two of three sets for the Broncos (0-2).
Nipomo 12, Pioneer Valley 8
The Titans (1-2) won eight of nine doubles sets in earning their first win of the season.
The teams of Ashley Jimenez and Monica Guerrero, and Brooke Marangi and Elle Lopez both swept their sets for Nipomo.
Mikayla Costello won two of three sets in singles for Nipomo.
