Nicole Raithel singled home Chloe Kerns in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Paso Robles High softball team to a 6-5 comeback win over Pioneer Valley on Friday.
The Bearcats scored three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings after falling behind 4-0.
Dakota Rodriguez hit a two-run triple in the seventh that scored Kaley Marquez and Mikayla Stone and tied the game 5-5. Later in the inning, Kerns drew a walk before scoring the winning run on Raithel’s base knock.
Lacey Morris was the winning pitcher for Paso Robles (4-3, 1-1 PAC 7) with two strikeouts over 2 1⁄3 innings, and Rodriguez finished the day 2 for 4.
Righetti 14, Arroyo Grande 1, 5 innings
Alexcia Silva had an RBI single to score Natilee Parrish for the Eagles’ (5-5, 1-1 PAC 7) lone run.
Templeton 16, Santa Maria 4, 5 innings
Makayla Xundle was 3 for 3 for the Eagles (4-7, 1-2 Los Padres League).
Kristina Raine was 2 for 3 with a triple, and Bryn Smith was 2 for 2. Corinne Barto earned the win in the circle and had five strikeouts.
Nipomo 11, Santa Ynez 0, 5 innings
Ashley Ruiz was 2 for 4 with three RBI, and Hope Goodall was 2 for 4 with three runs scored. Selina Delfin got the offense going for Nipomo (9-5, 3-1 LPL), hitting a bases-clearing double in the first inning.
Bri Sa pitched five shutout innings and had eight strikeouts.

Kendall Schemmer had two hits for Morro Bay (6-7, 2-1 LPL) in the loss on the road.
Coast Union 17, Coastal Christian 1, 5 innings
Elie Magnuson threw five innings, allowing only one run on one hit and was 3 for 4 at the plate with three RBI for the Broncos.
Maddie May and Ashley Martinez were both 3 for 4 with two RBI for Coast Union (4-3, 3-0 Coast Valley League).
Arroyo Grande 19, Atascadero 11, 5 innings
Joey DeLaRosa hit a three-run home run, and the Eagles scored 13 runs in the third inning to pull away from the Greyhounds.
Robbie Silva was 3 for 4 with two RBI for Arroyo Grande (5-3, 3-0 PAC 7), and Casey Muth was 2 for 3 with two RBI.
Paso Robles 12, Pioneer Valley 0
Bailey Gaither doubled, tripled and drove in four runs for the Bearcats, who scored seven runs in the sixth inning.
Ben Mecham scored four times, and Jonathan Baldwin had three hits and two RBI for Paso Robles (6-0-2).
Cabrillo 3, Morro Bay 1
Harrison Meinke pitched five innings with no earned runs and four strikeouts for the Pirates.
At the plate, Noah Garcia was 2 for 3 with a single and a double for Morro Bay (0-8, 0-3 LPL).
Coast Union 21, Coastal Christian 8
Mitchell Rey was 3 for 4 for the Conquerors, scoring one run and driving in two more.
Thomas Lindstaedt pitched four innings for Coastal Christian (0-1 CVL) with five strikeouts.

Ian Stake was 2 for 3 with two singles for the Royals.

Taylor Page won the boys 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.72 seconds and the 50 freestyle in 23.12 for the Bearcats (5-1, 2-1 PAC 7).
Kohl Coffee won the 100 freestyle (52.03) and the 100 backstroke (59.56) for Paso Robles.
The Bearcats girls’ (5-1, 3-0) 200 freestyle relay team of Amanda Oliver, Lauren Reed, Kasey Moffitt and Ryan Springer-Carter won in 1:46.59.
Oliver also won the 500 freestyle (5:32.98), and Oliver won the 200 freestyle (2:04.95).
Boys: Nipomo 119, Santa Maria 44; Girls: Nipomo 97, Santa Maria 57
Anika Smith won the girls 50-yard freestyle in 29.5 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 1:06.7 for the Titans (1-2).
Tyler Melschimer won the boys 500 freestyle (5:32) for Nipomo (2-1 LPL), and Brian Araujo won the 200 freestyle (2:10).
Atascadero senior commits to Azusa Pacific
Blaine Aguiar, a senior kicker and punter for the Greyhounds, committed to play for the Cougars.
Atascadero will be celebrating his commitment in Room A166 at 1:05 p.m. Monday.
