One San Luis Obispo County high school boys volleyball team received a home playoff game, and two more will open up on the road after CIF-Southern Section brackets were revealed Sunday.
San Luis Obispo High (20-4), which shared the PAC 7 title at 9-1 with Righetti but got the league’s first-place seed on a tiebreaker, will host Ojai Nordhoff, an at-large pick from the Tri-Valley League, in a first-round Division 2 matchup Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Should they advance, the Tigers would play the winner between Hemet West Valley (13-3) and Aliso Valley’s Aliso Niguel (15-7).
Also in Division 2, Arroyo Grande (17-9), which finished third in the PAC 7 with a 6-4 league record, will travel east of Palmdale to face Golden League champion Littlerock (15-2) for the right to play No. 2 overall seed Laguna Beach (17-10), which has a bye into the second round.
Righetti (19-6) drew Riverside La Sierra (16-4) and will host the second-place finisher from the Big VIII.
In Division III, Morro Bay (12-15), which placed second in the Los Padres League at 5-4, travels to Oxnard Rio Mesa (10-15). The winner will advance to play No. 1 overall seed Burroughs (30-3), which has a bye into the second round.
