The Arroyo Grande High girls tennis team got singles sweeps from Mia McKinstry and Lauren Hayashi to beat Templeton 16-2 during the first day of Santa Maria Tournament on Friday.
Hayashi dropped just two games in her three sets, while McKinstry lost five.
The doubles team of Kimmy Turner and Brianna Flood won all three sets 6-1, and Stephani and Amber Domako swept two sets.

The Eagles lost in straight sets to the Mustangs 25-14, 25-22, 25-15.
Despite the loss, Templeton coach Jodi Kelly said she has been impressed with the Madson sisters, Jeanne and Natalie, who had five and four kills, respectively.

Paramount scored two fourth-quarter goals to edge the Pirates.
Tyler Fraser and Nik Banko were the only players to score for the Pirates as Fraser tallied five goals and Banko had two.
Mac Reinheart had 16 saves for Morro Bay.
