The San Luis Obispo High girls water polo team defeated visiting Paso Robles 9-2 on Thursday.
Six different players scored for the Tigers, led by Kim Bellis’ three goals and Kennedy Peters’ two.
“Everyone worked well with each other, and there was more constant communication throughout the whole game than we’ve had all year,” Tigers coach Kristin Poochigian said.
Andie Judson made nine saves for San Luis Obispo (11-8, 6-2 PAC 7).

Rainy weather led to the postponement of several San Luis Obispo County prep sporting events originally scheduled for both Thursday and today.
In boys soccer, Templeton’s nonleague Thursday match at Coast Union is unlikely to be made up, Eagles coach Nelson Yamagata said. Also, Mission Prep’s game at San Luis Obispo today was postponed to Feb. 12.
In girls soccer, Arroyo Grande’s home match with Righetti today has been moved to Righetti’s field at 4 p.m., two hours before the schools’ boys programs face off at the same site. Atascadero’s home game against Pioneer Valley today has been moved to Feb. 1.
Both the boys and girls soccer matchups between Paso Robles and Nipomo originally scheduled for today have been postponed to Feb. 2 at the same times and sites.
Meanwhile, Arroyo Grande’s Thursday girls water polo game at Nipomo was postponed to Tuesday.
