The San Luis Obispo High boys water polo team rallied from a three-goal deficit, scoring four goals in the final two-and-a-half minutes to beat Atascadero 12-11 on Tuesday.
Josh Pearl scored the game-winning goal with 27 seconds remaining for the Tigers (4-3 PAC 7), who got a game-high five goals from Kyle McAlahney and four from Jackson Allison.
Atascadero (9-5, 2-4 PAC 7) got three goals apiece from Levi Adams and Chad Ponek.
San Luis Obispo goalie Tommy Caffrey made eight saves.

Arroyo Grande 9, Malibu 8
Eric Marsh led Arroyo Grande (13-5) with four goals. Luka Vukamonovic followed Marsh, scoring two goals.
“This was a good win on the road,” said Arroyo Grande coach Steven Allen. “This was a tough game for us.”
John Kullman made eight saves for the Eagles.
Righetti 23, Nipomo 4
The Titans (6-17, 0-7 PAC 7) got two goals apiece from Marc Baker and Cole Holloway but could not overcome a Righetti offense that scored 15 first-half goals.
Arroyo Grande 3, Righetti 0
Kate Reinhardt served 20 points for Arroyo Grande (14-2, 7-0 PAC 7) in the first game of its 25-9, 25-9, 25-14 sweep, and contributed six aces throughout the match.
Rachel Ventura led the Eagles with 13 kills, and Maggi Jo Keffury helped with 34 assists.
Paso Robles 3, Nipomo 0
The Bearcats swept 25-11, 25-13, 25-22.
Tess Rountree had 10 kills for Paso Robles (12-4, 7-1 PAC 7), and Maritza Juarez added eight more kills in the win.
Atascadero 3, Pioneer Valley 0
Atascadero swept 25-10, 25-23, 25-13.
Kiah Featherstone had 13 kills and six aces for the Greyhounds (9-4, 5-3 PAC 7), and Brianna Norlock added eight kills.
Atascadero’s Heather Harbottle had 29 assists.
Morro Bay 3, Lompoc 0
Morro Bay made quick work of the Braves, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17.
Tia Gacad had eight kills for Morro Bay (6-2 LPL), and Kylie Gacad added 23 assists. Morro Bay’s Monica Santiago had 17 digs.
Mission Prep 3, Cabrillo 0
Mission Prep swept 25-16, 25-18, 25-22, as Andrea Fernandez had 10 kills and five digs for the Royals (11-1).
Deirdre Liard added 19 assists and nine digs. Danielle Brescia had five kills, five blocks and three aces for Mission Prep.
Valley Christian Academy 3, No. County Christian 0
Ashlee Soots’ three aces and Laura Tapanes’ six kills were not enough to lead North County Christ-ian (4-15, 1-7 Coast Valley League) to victory, as VCA swept 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.
The Crusaders’ Teale Harden contributed nine assists, and Jessica Lindquist had 13 digs.
Coastal Christian 3, Cuyama 0
Coastal Christian swept 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.
Joann Linstaedt had 29 assists and three aces for Coastal Christian (3-1 CVL), and Grace Napier added 16 kills. Taylor Brooks had 16 digs and four aces for the Conquerors, and Leslie Henry added 12 digs, nine kills and six aces.
San Luis Obispo 16, Atascadero 2
San Luis Obispo’s Tori Troesch swept her singles matches, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0.
Abigail Will and Kristy Kayatta each had two wins for the Tigers (12-1, 9-0 PAC 7).
Kristin McBride had the only singles win for the Greyhounds.
Maddie Hansen and Coreen Owens were the Tigers’ top double duo with 6-0, 6-1, 6-1 wins.
Tori Contreras and Bree Nothstein were the only doubles team for the Greyhounds to get a win.
Paso Robles 17, Pioneer Valley 1
Paso Robles’ Savannah Carlson and Angelica Shubboth won three singles matches, and Maria Petiy added two wins for the Bearcats (11-2, 7-2 PAC 7).
Arroyo Grande 7, Mission Prep 2
The Eagles (8-4) won five of six singles matches, including an 8-2 win by Allie Martin.
Mission Prep was led by Helena Olivieri, who was the lone Royal to win in singles play, and was joined by doubles partner Rachel Ronca in a 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (6) win over Mia McKinstry and Kimmy Turner.
Lompoc 11, Morro Bay 7
Morro Bay’s Megan Hansen swept her singles matches, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
Hannah Richardson had two wins for Morro Bay.
Kirra Meisinger and Jamissa Yasay were the only doubles team to get a win for Morro Bay (1-6-1 LPL).
