The Cal Poly men’s soccer team’s rivalry match against visiting UC Santa Barbara at 7 tonight has been sold out, Cal Poly announced Thursday.
The match is sold out for the third straight year with all 11,075 tickets accounted for, according to Cal Poly.
The match has made up for 10 of the top 32 highest-attended soccer regular-season matches in NCAA history, and the two last season were the most-attended games of the season in the country, including the NCAA tourney, according to Cal Poly.
Cal Poly athlete grad rates increase
The NCAA released its report on graduation rates for Division I student-athletes Thursday, and Cal Poly’s rate is higher than the rate for the student body, the school announced.

The report showed that 75 percent of student-athletes that entered the school in the fall of 2006 graduated within six years, compared to 73 percent for the entire student body.
Cal Poly to wrestle Oregon State outdoors
Cal Poly will host an outdoor Pac-12 wrestling dual meet against Oregon State at 3 p.m. Jan. 30 in the plaza of the University Union. It will be the first outdoor wrestling meet for the Mustangs.
The first nonconference home match will be Jan. 4 against North Dakota State. Conference starts Jan. 12 when Boise State comes to San Luis Obispo.
Cuesta women's water polo team falls to Pierce, 13-7
Rachel Gruetzmacher scored three goals for the Cuesta women’s water polo team in its 13-7 loss to Pierce on Thursday afternoon.
Haley Shafer added two goals, and Gabrielle Zimmerman had five saves for the Cougars (17-7, 2-3 Western State Conference).
