The Cal Poly women’s basketball program signed three student-athletes Tuesday to National Letters of Intent for the 2015-16 season.
The newcomers are 5-foot-11 Breezi Holt, a shooting guard from Bishop Manogue High School in Reno, Nev., Katie Nunnelley, a 6-1 forward from Anderson Union High, and Dye Stahley, a 5-6 point guard from Dobson High in Mesa, Ariz.
Holt is a back-to-back first-team Northern Nevada all-regional selection and averaged 18.5 points and 8.7 rebounds last year.
Nunnelley earned all-Northern Section First Team honors after averaging 16.7 points and 11 rebounds for the Cubs last year. She was also named the Northern Athletic League Most Valuable Player for the second straight year, and serves as the student body president.
Never miss a local story.
Stahley was the play caller for Arizona’s top-ranked team in the 2013-14 season, as the Mustangs finished with 30-3 record. A strong defender, Stahley averaged 3.4 steals per game and took 33 charges — leading the state — over the course of the season.
