Elise Krieghoff scored four goals to lead Cal Poly’s women’s soccer team to a 5-2 road win over CSU Bakersfield on Sunday night.
Krieghoff scored in the eighth, 59th, 80th and 83rd minutes for Cal Poly, which improved to 2-0 overall. The sophomore scored on an assist from Sara Lancaster only 7 minutes, 49 seconds into the match, and the Mustangs built a 2-0 halftime lead after a goal from Kacey Held on an assist from Jordyn Zander.
The Roadrunners (1-1) tied the match 2-2, with the equalizer coming from Hedda Regefalk in the 56th minute.
But Krieghoff scored on a header off a cross from Lydia Anderson in the 59th, and the Mustangs led the rest of the way.

Held and goalkeeper Alyssa Giannetti also had assists for the Mustangs.
Giannetti posted six saves in her second win of the season.
