The Cal Poly men’s basketball team’s Dec. 11 game at UCLA will be televised by Fox Sports Net Prime Ticket, the station announced Wednesday.
The time of the game — Cal Poly’s first against the Bruins since 1955 — was switched from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Mustangs will also play on FSNPT against Cal State Northridge on Jan. 22. They open the season Nov. 14 at Seattle.
Nipomo boys water polo wins
The Nipomo High boys water polo team routed Santa Maria 20-7, as Cole Holloway and Marc Baker tallied six goals apiece. J.W. Dobbe added two scores.
Kirk Wilenius made 17 saves in goal for Nipomo (10-4, 2-0 Los Padres League).
Santa Ynez tops Morro Bay in boys water polo
Santa Ynez High topped Morro Bay 16-2 in an LPL boys water polo game. Keary Kennedy and Tyler Fraser each scored for Morro Bay (1-13, 0-2), which got six saves from Mac Reinhart and five from Shane Crockett.
St. Joseph defeats Arroyo Grande in girls golf
The St. Joseph High girls golf team defeated Arroyo Grande 238-279, as Marissa Gutierrez shot a 42 in rainy conditions at par-37 Santa Maria Country Club to earn medalist honors.
Emma Fuhs led the Eagles with a personal-best 50.
Nipomo, Santa Ynez tie in girls golf
The Nipomo High girls golf team tied Santa Ynez 261-261 in a Los Padres League dual.
Courtney Cuzick led the Titans by shooting a 46, while Audrey Johnson added a 50.
The Pirates’ Maddison Shean was the medalist, carding a 38.

Rainy weather led two San Luis Obispo County prep teams not to play events as scheduled.
