Playing at home for the first time after starting with 13 straight matches on the road, the Cal Poly volleyball team swept Cal State Bakersfield on Sunday for its eighth win in a row and the program’s 100th under head coach Jon Stevenson.
Sophomore middle blocker Jennifer Keddy had a game-high 15 kills, Catie Smith added 12 and senior libero Alison Mort had 17 digs as the Mustangs (10-3) cruised to a 25-22, 25-8, 25-15 win over the winless Roadrunners (0-16).
In his sixth season, Stevenson (100-56) joined Mike Wilson (179-129) and Steve Schlick (128-121) as the only Cal Poly volleyball coaches to reach 100 victories.
Setter Sarah Cawrse had 32 assists, and the Mustangs — led by Keddy’s seven blocks — dominated the net defensively.

The Mustangs (4-4) moved back to .500 with a scoring barrage against the winless Wildcats (0-9) at Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
Cal Poly got goals from four different players, including sophomore forward Bianca Burright, who scored her third of the season to open scoring in the 19th minute.
Senior Morgan Miller, who tied the team-high with five goals a season ago, had her first of the year in the 41st minute to push the Mustangs’ lead to 2-0 at the half.
Hayley Walker and Lauren Miller each added their first scores of the season in the final 16 minutes as Cal Poly outshot Weber State 15-6.
