Cal Poly goalkeeper Wade Hamilton came into Sunday’s game with top-ranked UCLA on a
229-minute scoreless streak.
That streak is still alive after the Mustangs fought the Bruins to a scoreless draw at Drake Stadium in Los Angeles.
Hamilton’s run is now up to 339 minutes after he made three saves in regulation and overtime, and he lowered his goals-against-average to 0.96.
Cal Poly (4-1-1) outshot UCLA 15-12.
Earl Edwards stopped five shots for UCLA (3-1-2), which held Cal Poly without a shot for the first 21 minutes of the game.
Justin Dhillon had a team-leading three shots for the Mustangs.
Cal Poly returns home for a match against San Francisco on Friday.
