The San Luis Obispo Blues swept a three-game summer collegiate baseball series, including winning both contests of a doubleheader Tuesday, against the SoCal Catch in Whittier.
The Blues improved to 14-1 with a 3-0 win in the first game and a 9-4 victory in the second.
San Luis Obispo’s Connor O’Hare was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double in the first game of seven innings while Jordan Smith went five innings for the win, striking out three.
In the second game of nine innings, Michael Pritchard was 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBI, and Leo Vargas had a solo homer. Blake Allemand was 3 for 5 with two RBI, and Corey Ray pitched four innings in the win.
