The tax is better placed on carbon-dioxide emissions generated by the combustion of fossil fuels.
A $10 fee per ton of CO2 emitted equates to 10 cents per gallon at the pump. Naturally, all is negotiable. At this point in time, we must attempt to get control of what may become an out-of-control situation.
