I want to thank Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center staff for the excellent care I received during my recent 11-day stay in the emergency room, intensive care unit and “stepdown” units. Every member of the nursing and doctor’s staff was, in a word, amazing — above and beyond competent, caring, compassionate and always cheerfully doing their job.
My ordeal was made tolerable thanks to them, and it really opened my eyes to what nurses do. Among others, I owe my life to Dr. Farah Mansuri, the nurses and the blood donors who provided the approximately eight units of blood I received. From the lady with the funny looking fingernails, I can’t thank you all enough.
