As a resident of Arroyo Grande for almost seven years, I have not been particularly impressed with the performance of the existing City Council, and recent events have not changed my mind. Two examples of their indifference are the dictatorial antics on the proposed Brisco Road interchange and their attempts to resolve water issues.
The perception of the existing City Council members is that there is little dissension in decision-making and they just endorse a collective position.
It is time for a change. I am convinced that Barbara Harmon on the City Council will challenge the conventional wisdom of proposals, which will provide the city with better resolutions for the benefit of all Arroyo Grande residents.
