In response to a recent letter regarding Lynn Compton's service, or lack thereof, in the community: I would like the voters of the 4th District to know about Lynn’s animal rescue efforts.
During the past 10 years, I know of countless animals that Lynn has rescued dogs, cats, birds, alpacas, horses. You name it, it doesn’t matter. Not only did she rescue them, she found homes for them. She sought medical attention for those that needed it, and then spent hours on her own, feeding and tending to the animals, until they could be placed.
Lynn has a huge heart for all animals and their needs. It has been a pleasure working with her on several of these rescue efforts and to see firsthand the compassion she possesses.
I also really applaud Lynn for obtaining a law degree during the past several years. Instead of just sitting back and relaxing, she had a dream, so she got busy and made it a reality.
Never miss a local story.
Lynn Compton will make a great supervisor, concerned not only for the animals, but for the constituents of the 4th District.
I can’t think of a better person to have fighting for you or alongside you.
