Vote “no” on Measure L, the Cuesta College bond. For the Five Cities and South County areas, Allan Hancock College is much closer to travel to, and it used bond funds the proper way by constructing new buildings.
Cuesta wants to spend over a quarter-billion dollars to patch up old buildings it continually neglected over the years. Recently, Cuesta College nearly lost accreditation due to misguided management practices, and this poorly thought out bond measure only reinforces that.
I urge a “no” vote on Measure L.
