Caren Ray and her adviser Adam Hill have recently shown their willingness to politicize situations to fit their agendas. I’m talking about Caren Ray’s slamming of Lynn Compton’s upcoming “Hobo Stew” fundraiser at the Oceano Train Depot.
I find it disheartening and, quite frankly, pitiful that two sitting members of our county Board of Supervisors are so willing to criticize a long-held event that is beneficial to the Oceano Train Depot (a portion of proceeds go to the depot), one of our most prized landmarks. Evidently, they aren’t aware that the Elks Club has held a “Hobo Stew” for years, and Ray has never once taken offense. It’s unfortunate that Ray and Hill would be so willing to use this as a mere political punching bag and disregard the significance this venue has for the local community.
Additionally, you would think they would know the difference between a “hobo” and a homeless individual.
Do Adam Hill and Caren Ray really think we will fall for their spin? Being a Sacramento political appointee, it’s clear that Ray is out of touch with the community that she represents. Ray needs to lighten up and stop the political punching bag.
