I do not yet know how I will vote for district attorney, but I can say one thing: I will not be writing in Paul Phillips. We already have two candidates with experience in the DA’s office. For Phillips to enter the race at this late date is irresponsible and foolish. He has no chance of winning; however, he may cause a November runoff between Covello and Dow. This will cost taxpayer money and subject us to five more months of unpleasant campaigning.
Let’s pick between the two candidates we have and hope that one of them gets at least 50 percent of the vote so we won’t have to listen to this drivel any more than necessary.
