At Paloma Creek Park in Atascadero, we are in the process of installing lights at the newly built horseshoe courts. This will allow nighttime play for the new horseshoe league beginning April 29. However, this project couldn’t have been started and completed if it wasn’t for the following business and volunteers, so thanks to: Dynegy, Atascadero Native Tree Association, McNamara Electric, Lininger Construction, Glenn’s Repair and Rental Inc., San Benito Supply, David Severa, Tim Sobey, Jerad Hutchinson, Burt Johnson, Don Ford, Eric Brink, Terry Pullen, Lee Friedman and Glenn Schroeder.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the horseshoe courts, and to help cover the cost of the light project, we are having a doubles horseshoe tournament fundraiser April 12 beginning at 9 a.m.
