Kristen Barneich is the logical choice for the vacant seat on the Arroyo Grande City Council. Her experience alone qualifies her for this position, but her passion and intelligence are a plus. She has been on the Planning Commission for seven years and was on the Architectural Review Commission for two years before that. In 2005 she and her dad and a handful of Arroyo Grande citizens founded the Arroyo Grande Tree Guild. Since that time, the guild has planted 292 trees all over the city with the cooperation of city staff.
She has a collaborative spirit with everyone with whom she works. Most of all, she truly loves this city and will work with others to keep it the best little city on the coast.
