Recently, the Templeton Community Services District cut back on the thorny blackberry vines growing out of Toad Creek into the narrow bridge area but didn’t clear it well enough for pedestrians to walk safely across the Las Tablas Road bridge.
I’m pretty sure that even if they did clear it better, it still wouldn’t be safe enough for pedestrians due to the bridge’s narrowness.
So I’m asking all the TCSD candidates, if elected, to please build a pedestrian bridge across Toad Creek on Las Tablas Road similar to the one built on the Florence Street bridge.
If you don’t make it safe for pedestrians walking down one of the busiest roads in Templeton, you won’t amount to much of a leader for our community.
Thank you for your consideration.
