Unemployment continues to be a problem, and many are homeless as well. Small businesses as well as large companies are closing their doors or downsizing, further adding to the unemployed. California is in serious financial trouble, and our national debt is climbing at an alarming rate, causing the United States credit rating to be lowered.
Clearly the administration’s plan to correct these problems by spending gigantic sums of money has failed; now the national debt is much worse. It is much more difficult to make payments to lenders who have financed our debt, including China, as the debt climbs and Uncle Sam’s income shrinks.
This nation grew and became great under capitalism. Now is the time to cut unnecessary rules and regulations that hamper business startups and existing business growth. Correct the inequities in the tax code for both business and individuals. When business flourishes, everybody wins; employees, investors and Uncle Sam. Now is the time to put someone in the White House as well as Congress who will do just that. Someone who will also stand up to our adversaries and stand with our friends and allies. Don’t let the big spenders bankrupt our nation.
