Light pollution: Since when is light coming from personal residences pollution?
Visual effects (scenic review): People working and moving dirt and building a house is a San Luis Obispo County visual violation and blight on the landscape, according to San Luis Obispo County planning staff.
In South County, you are not allowed a house on a hill, but this “viewshed rule” is violated in the North County and in all the coastal cities.
Just what is wrong with rich people living in single-family residences slightly above the rest of us?
The developer has played by all of the rules for 14 years. Fourteen years! If those planners can just stretch this project out another six years, they can all collect retirement and a pension.
This project would pay a lot of taxes for schools and roads. Look at the roads in Nipomo. And people wonder why Tesla chose Nevada.
