In terms of sheer entertainment value, the winner of the recent Republican debates is the Fox organization itself.
It seems the American voter has become so distracted that the only way to get us to pay attention is with jolly patter, toothy smiles and the requisite blonde.
Regardless of which party we favor, all of the people on that stage have invested their time, money and energy in a very difficult endeavor.
They are not “you guys” as addressed by their quiz show questioners. PBS this ain’t.
Fox needs to stop billing itself as a news group bringing us the facts. What they offer is closer to old vaudeville. Sleight of hand and big yuks is all they have to offer.
