Drivers along highways 46 in Paso Robles and and 227 through San Luis Obispo and Edna Valley should plan for delays this week as crews do road work there.
Crews plan to do striping and road marking along the fast lane of Highway 46 between Buena Vista Drive and Airport Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. today and Tuesday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, according to Caltrans.
Look for workers doing road repairs along the highway’s slow lane from Airport Road to a quarter mile east from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Thursday.
Along the Madonna Road stretch of Highway 227 to Higuera Street, drivers should watch for crews doing road work in the No. 1 and 2 lanes, the left median shoulder and the right shoulder from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. today through Friday.
On the highway’s Higuera and South Street stretch, crews will be doing similar work from Madonna to Beebee Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. today through Friday.
Where Highway 227 runs through the Edna Valley, crews will be adding a seal coat to the roadway from Price Canyon Road south to Huasna Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Friday.
Drivers should plan for delays of up to 15 minutes as various lanes are closed alternately in both directions, according to Caltrans.

A field representative for Congressman Kevin McCarthy will hold office hours for the public this month in San Miguel, Paso Robles and Arroyo Grande.
