One splashy surprise: Arroyo Grande boy with heart abnormality gets his wish

closeFive-year-old Adrian Williams of Arroyo Grande is heading to Disneyland with a train trip to Southern California this week thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties.
The foundation grants wishes to children who have life-threatening medical conditions.
Adrian has a double-inlet left ventricle, a heart abnormality in which both atriums are connected to the left ventricle, according to Make-a-Wish organizers.
On Saturday, he was told his wish would be granted when foundation volunteers and members of the Five Cities Firefighters Association arrived in an engine and let Adrian hose down his neighborhood.
They then took Adrian and his family in the fire engine to Splash Cafe in Pismo Beach, where about 20 of his Harloe Elementary School classmates and his teacher met him for a surprise party.
