Sandee McLaughlin has been named the assistant superintendent/vice president of student services at Cuesta College. She has served in that post on an interim basis since July 2012.
McLaughlin replaces Linda Fontanilla, who left the college for a job at Irvine Valley College.
McLaughlin has worked at Cuesta College since 1986, her last job as executive dean of the North County Campus and College Centers.
“Sandee McLaughlin has a long history of service to the students at Cuesta College,” said Superintendent/President Gil Stork in a news release. “That consistency of leadership has been a great benefit to us and ultimately to the students.”
Never miss a local story.
The Cuesta Board of Trustees is expected to approve McLaughlin’s promotion at their meeting today.
