Two juveniles were arrested by the Paso Robles Police Department on Friday after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana for sale.
Detectives patrolled the Centennial Park area at about 1:40 p.m. after repeated complaints of young people openly smoking marijuana in the park and surrounding area, according to the department.
The detectives approached two juveniles smoking in the park and allegedly discovered them with packaging materials and digital scales, as well as 74 grams of marijuana.
The marijuana and other evidence were seized, police said, and the juveniles were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, a felony.
They’re not being named by the department because they’re under 18. The two were released to the custody of their parents and will face charges in juvenile court.
