A 19-year-old Cal Poly student was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly going on a vandalism spree on campus.
The University Police Department received a report of damage about 4:30 a.m. from a maintenance worker. The vandalism, which included broken windows and umbrella fixtures, stretched through the campus core.
The department investigated throughout the day on Saturday, identifying Logan Puleri, 19, as the suspect after finding a witness and other evidence. The cost of the damage was estimated at $25,000.
A law enforcement dog provided by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife assisted in the investigation.
Puleri was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail; he was no longer in custody as of Monday evening, according to jail records.
