Two North County residents are in jail after a stabbing at a fast-food restaurant drive-through in Paso Robles.
Daniel Flores, 19, of Paso Robles and Tyler Dwayne McKinney, 18, of Atascadero, were arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and criminal conspiracy with enhancements for participating in a criminal street gang.
On Friday night, Paso Robles police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of Niblick Road. By the time officers arrived, everyone involved had left the scene.
Soon, the alleged victim, a 31-year-old Paso Robles resident, returned and told officers he was in a vehicle in the drive-thru of a local fast food restaurant when he was confronted by the two suspects, according to a Paso Robles police news release.

The victim told the officers the suspects struck him as he sat in the car and stabbed him in the forearm. The stab wound was not life threatening. The victim was treated at Twin Cities Community Hospital and released, police said.
Investigators were later able to identify the two suspects, who were taken into custody at a home in the 400 block of Helen Street in Paso Robles.
The knife believed to have been used in the alleged assault was recovered, police said.
As of Monday afternoon, both Flores and McKinney remained in San Luis Obispo County Jail in lieu of $55,000 bail.
