The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has had no luck identifying the body of a man found in a Nipomo ditch Sept. 17 and is again asking the public for help.
The office’s latest efforts to identify the man included passing out fliers to residents in Guadalupe and Nipomo on Tuesday, said sheriff’s spokesman Tony Cipolla.
Beginning at 1:30 p.m., deputies met at the Far Western Tavern in Guadalupe and began passing out fliers to locals. They were expected to fan out into surrounding areas throughout the afternoon, Cipolla said.
The victim is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s to mid 30s, with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 165 pounds.
